After a Friday night out, my wife and I made the serious mistake of not arranging alternate transportation home, even though we lived less than 10 miles away. She believed she was okay to drive, and I agreed — a decision we immediately regretted. As we exited the freeway, she accidentally struck the rear of a parked police vehicle. In that moment, we knew we were facing a life-changing situation. My wife was arrested for a DUI and released the following day. By Saturday afternoon, I began searching for legal representation.
